Bid Director - BSF, Education - South
Package: £60k, Car Allowance, Pension & Private healthcare
A leading supplier IT software & services within the public sector Education market require a Bid Director to be responsible for Preparing and delivering ITT bids within their Education sector business. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a detailed understanding of the IT business needs of the public sector/Local Government market (Preferably the Education sector : BSF) and will possess relevant Sales or Pre-Sales experience gained in an IT solutions role. The position will lead the ICT prime bidder, with a supply chain team, in delivering the input to BSF project bids and ensure that the bid is commercially deliverable whilst maintaining the companies reputation for quality.
Key Responsibilities:
In execution of your duties, you will
• Lead the ICT input for bids in BSF with the client and the consortium
• Co-ordinate the supply chain response and meetings to deliver the bid inputs
• Co-ordinate the internal team in supporting the Bid
• Lead the content provision to bids
• Identify additional opportunities within and across the business.
• Ensure the bid is deliverable
• Ensure the companies position is not compromised commercially
To be considered, you must:
• Be Personable with gravitas and credibility within the ICT bid environment
• Possess the ability to lead a bid for the BSF ICT element of a complex project
• Be able to interact with schools, authorities and the Consortium for bids
• Possess knowledge of BSF Bidding process
• Possess knowledge of the ICT role in delivering the education curriculum
• Possess the ability to work in a consortium with other Bid Directors
• Possess some knowledge of BSF related technology - Sharepoint, VLE (Virtual Learning Environment), Microsoft Learning Gateway
