Bid Writer- Healthcare Market - Based Manchester or Surrounding area - Circa £32000
Our client is a rapidly growing organisation within the healthcare market.
The successful candidate will form part of the central Business Development Team. He or she will work closely with the three central bid teams and technical contributors from the operational teams to produce bids of the highest quality. The role of Bid Writer will be to assimilate essential component parts of proposal and incorporate them into compelling bid submissions.
The role:
- To be responsible for leading and writing key sections of tenders. Having a proactive approach to tender production including, support and contribute to the planning process
- Liaising with all stakeholders involved in a tender submission and managing the input from these stakeholders
- Working with the bid Manager in planning the production of bids
- To Write bids, providing management and technical writing skills
- Objectively review bid submissions and suggest changes and/or improvements
- Gather and co-ordinate bid information from business development and operational teams
- Completing internal control forms and ensuring that the bid process is fully utilised and embedded
- Proof read submissions and have high level of quality control
- Managing the editorial process for the bid throughout its full lifecycle
- Editing text produced by others (including more senior members of the team)
- Ensuring tenders are fully compliant with the client-s requirements
- Assisting in client presentations, PR and marketing exhibitions
- Writing/proof reading information to be included on the company intranet, Hub, and the company website
- Production of marketing and sales literature
- Compiling data associated with bid proposals in a central database
- Contribute to the development of systems for tenders
- Contribute to the development of submission templates and style guides

- Degree qualified

- Excellent Microsoft Word & Powerpoint skills
- Effective communicator
- Bid writing within a pressurised environment
- Working with diverse team to consolidate information
- Knowledge of Infrastructure sector preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail Enthusiastic
- Ability to work under pressure and to demanding deadlines
- Proven ability to work as part of a team
