Position: Kitchen Assistant
Location: Newmarket, Suffolk
Salary: £8 per hour (£12 after 40 hours)
Type: Seasonal Contract
Start: Immediate until October 2010
We are looking for Kitchen Assistants to work in Newmarket. You must be discreet, humble, flexible, hardworking, able to handle pressure in a demanding environment and a good team player.
Previous experience is an advantage.
Duties include cleaning the kitchen, doing dishes, setting tables, clearing tables, basic food preparation all to a 6 star standard in a private household. When the clients are in, there are 5am starts in the kitchen.
You must have no holidays booked during the busy season (May – October).
We are looking for either local candidates or willing to relocate (shared house in Newmarket will be provided).
There may be some overseas travelling to Jordan/Dubai.
Currently the position is working 5 days a week, though in the busy period candidates will be expected to work 6/7 days a week working 10-12 hour shifts.
