This well renowned manufacturing company is looking to recruit a Project Manager to assist the already successful team in coping with an ever increasing business demand.

The role
1) To work with the Group Projects Co-ordinator to prioritise projects in line with Company goals
2) Perform the role inline with the project requirements as discussed and agreed
3) To work with direct resources allocated, and associated cross-functional departments as appropriate
4) Co-ordinating, specifying, monitoring and reviewing workloads and progress made
5) To actively communicate progress to plan/objectives, to internal customers, external customers, vendors and the leadership team as appropriate
6) To influence corrective action plans and root cause solutions to assist the outcome of the project
7) To promote the use of company systems and procedures in pursuit of project requirements
8) To develop objectives and development plans for direct reports and/or project team
9) To project and constraint manage projects to cost and timescales
10) To manage projects within cost boundaries, timescales and allocated resources
11) Participate as required in any auditing activities including the Sarbanes-Oxley process
Candidate skills / qualifications
1) MUST have experience in a modern engineering/manufacturing environment
2) Successful experience of supervising a small team to achieve a variety of objectives within challenging timescales
1) Strong background as a Project Manager ESSENTIAL
