The Opportunity

We're working with a highly regarded Electrical and M&E Contractor delivering a range of commercial, industrial, and specialist projects across London and the South East.

With a strong reputation in the film, television, commercial, and industrial sectors, our client is continuing to grow and is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to join their team based in Dartford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially aware Electrical Project Manager looking to take ownership of projects from pre-construction through to completion, whilst working closely with clients, subcontractors, and senior management.

Projects are primarily based around Dartford and the surrounding areas, with occasional travel to sites across London, Watford, and the wider South East.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage electrical projects from inception through to completion.
* Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
* Prepare and manage project programmes, RAMS, and Health & Safety documentation.
* Monitor project costs, variations, forecasting, and commercial performance.
* Procure and coordinate labour, plant, materials, and subcontractors.
* Attend client and site meetings, maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.
* Manage site teams, supervisors, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.
* Monitor progress and provide regular updates to senior management.
* Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations and company procedures.

Requirements

Essential

* Proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager within the commercial or industrial sectors.
* Strong background delivering electrical installations on design & build projects.
* ECS Gold Card and 18th Edition qualification.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, BoQs, and electrical schematics.
* Strong commercial awareness with experience managing project budgets and cost control.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
* Strong organisational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Desirable

* Experience within the film, television, or specialist commercial sectors.
* Previous involvement in tender submissions and pre-construction activities.
* Knowledge of electrical control systems.
* SMSTS or equivalent site management qualification.
* Ambitious and career-focused mindset with a desire to progress.
