✏️ The Role

Depending on the assignment, you could be:

✨ Teaching English Language and Literature across KS3 and KS4

✨ Delivering pre-planned lessons for day-to-day supply

✨ Planning, teaching and marking for longer-term placements

✨ Supporting pupils preparing for GCSE examinations

✨ Creating an engaging and positive classroom environment

For day-to-day supply, planning and marking will normally be provided by the school.

✅ Who We're Looking For

You'll ideally have:

✔️ Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an appropriate UK-recognised teaching qualification

✔️ Experience teaching English within a UK secondary school

✔️ Strong subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4

✔️ Confident classroom and behaviour management skills

✔️ A positive, reliable and professional approach

✔️ A passion for English and helping pupils achieve their potential

ECTs are very welcome to apply.
