Salary Structure

Junior / Inexperienced Technician

*Basic Salary: £27,000
*OTE: £34,000

Experienced Technician

*Basic Salary: £33,000 - £35,000
*OTE: £43,000 - £45,000

Diagnostic / Master Technician

*Basic Salary: £35,000 - £38,000
*OTE: £45,000 - £48,000

The Role

As part of a highly experienced aftersales team, you'll be responsible for:

*Servicing, maintaining and repairing customer vehicles to manufacturer standards.
*Diagnosing and rectifying mechanical and electrical faults.
*Completing warranty and routine servicing work.
*Carrying out vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where appropriate.
*Using the latest manufacturer diagnostic equipment and repair methods.
*Maintaining accurate workshop records and ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards.
*Supporting apprentices and junior technicians where appropriate.

The Ideal Candidate

You'll ideally have:

*Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
*Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician within either a franchised dealership or independent workshop.
*MOT Tester qualification (desirable but not essential).
*Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
*Excellent attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
*A full UK Driving Licence.
