Diamond4jobs.com takes your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to fulfil your job seeking or recruitment requirements and to provide the services you have requested from us. We are regulated by the United Kingdom Data Protection Act (DPA) 1998. This law was enacted to make new provision for the regulation of the processing of information relating to individuals, including the obtaining, holding, use or disclosure of such information. The DPA 2018 supplements the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which came into effect on 25 May 2018. We are registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO), registration number ZA056278.

DATA TRANSFER AND COLLECTION

Our website collects short-term data and uses cookies to enable the website to function as necessary. All other data we collect, process and store on the website is purely to enable us to facilitate the recruitment services we offer and provide any additional services that you may request. By submitting your CV to a job posting on Diamond4jobs.com, the information you provide in your CV submission, along with your name and contact information including email address and phone number will be shared with our client recruiter. If you choose to receive job matches and make your profile public, your details will be shared with employers as well recruiters who purchase access to the resume database and those parties we work with to facilitate automatic job matching and emailing of job alert messages. Therefore, you should carefully consider what information you provide in your CV submission and registration process with us. Diamond4jobs.com is not responsible for employers, recruiters who re-disclose your CV information to 3rd parties without Diamond4jobs.com's knowledge or permission.

We also may use a postcode area attribute to help match job location to your geographical proximity.

Users of this website may give their consent to receive job alerts by email. There is no obligation on the part of the user to receive job alerts to apply for a job or register with Diamond4jobs.com. We work with partner organizations to provide job alerts and with user consent, some aspects of candidate data will be transferred to the partner organization for them to provide this service. Transferred data will be stored by the partner organization to allow them to process the data to match the candidate profile to jobs that may be of interest. The candidate name and email address will be used to send job alert emails to the candidate that contain proposed job matches. The data provided to a partner depends on the partner requirement. Diamond4jobs.com reserves the right to change which partners it works with and will update this policy accordingly.

WHO MAY PROCESS DATA

If you submit your details and apply for a job on diamond4jobs.com and do not opt for any additional services your details will only be accessed by diamond4jobs.com staff and/or our client or recruitment clients who are responsible for recruiting into that position. We may at some point provide the option for you to explicitly opt in to be registered on external sites for the purpose of receiving matching job alerts by email or receiving a free CV review in which case some of your details will be forwarded to the external organization and you will be registered on the chosen site(s) upon submission of the job application. This is purely optional and will default to opted out and will not otherwise affect the job application process. The specific data required by the external site may vary but you will always be informed on screen which data is supplied to which organization before collecting your consent. Once your details are registered on external partner sites, they will be permitted to process your details according to their privacy policy and they will be at liberty to send emails and/or contact you to fulfil the service requested. Diamond4jobs.com endeavours to partner only with GDPR compliant entities.

DATA RETENTION

Registered users including job seekers and recruiters of diamond4jobs will be responsible for maintaining the currency of their data including its existence on our platform. Registered users' data will be held by us indefinitely until the point that a user chooses to delete their details and/or close their account with diamond4jobs.com.

Job applications including CV submissions may be made by candidates without registering with diamond4jobs.com. In this case your data will be stored on our systems for a period of between one to three months to cover the lifetime of the job applied for. Our policy is to automatically purge unregistered user personal data each night for individuals who no longer have any pending job applications. Alternatively you can request that we remove your data from our systems at any time.

YOUR RIGHT TO BE FORGOTTEN

To request that all your data is removed from our systems as soon as possible you may contact us at any time. This will not influence job applications previously made to external client recruiters but may remove you from future recruitment activities. We will not be able to retract your information from third party recruiters where your details have been shared before your request was made. We will endeavour to act upon your instruction within 72 working hours of receipt.

DELETING YOUR ACCOUNT/INFORMATION - To completely delete your account and all information (including registration and CV information), login to your account and select the option "Deactivate Account" at the bottom of the page. This will completely remove all of your information from Diamond4jobs.com's system. If you completely delete your account and wish to use Diamond4jobs.com's services in the future, you must re-register.

USE OF COOKIES
